The Nahargarh Fort was built by Sawai Jai Singh II in 1734 and is the first of the three forts built by the rulers of Jaipur. Also known as the "Tiger Fort", it is at a distance of 6 km away from the Jaipur City Palace. It is also one of the foremost tourist attractions of Jaipur besides being a reminder of its glorious past that never fails to fascinate.
