Temperature and Best Season
The climate can broadly be described as tropical, with the exception of the Himalaya.
The Subcontinent has four seasons:

  • Winter- from December to February

The best time to visit the north is between October and March; temperatures are pleasant, the days dry and sunny. From December through to mid-January early morning fog in and around Delhi can disrupt travel plans with flights often delayed or sometimes cancelled. Night temperatures in Rajasthan and the plains often reach freezing point during the winter and it can be chilly before sunrise. April through to August is hot. Early summer is good for wildlife viewing, the parks are free of visitors, vegetation is dry and game easily spotted.

On arrival in New Delhi, you will be received at the International Airport by our Company representative.
Private Assistance with our company representative:- Please keep a watch for him once you are done with collecting your luggage. Take a walk towards the exit gate in the arrival terminal. (we request you not to leave the terminal building until the representative contacts you. Assistance and transfer by car to the hotel where room is reserved for immediate check-in.

Delhi: - Famed for serving as a capital to several ancient and medieval Empires, the history of Delhi can be said to be as old as 3000 years. Delhi was built on the banks of the Yamuna River. Indraprastha, according to lores, was the old Capital of Delhi and founded by the Pandavas in the times of the Mahabharata 1500 B.C. and was located near the Old Fort. Today, Delhi is popular for its attractive combination of Old and New which can be seen in its two parts - Old Delhi and New Delhi. New Delhi was primarily developed by the British. You will stay overnight at the Hotel.

Days 2
Red Fort

After breakfast, you can take a tour of New Delhi to visit the Qutub Complex. The complex architecture and its ambiance will take you to the era of the origin of Islamic rule in Delhi. From there, you can drive to British Delhi, to visit the monuments now synonymous with independent India - the President-s House, Parliament House and India Gate.

After a lunch break, start with Old Delhi visiting the Red Fort, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1638 of the Mughal Dynasty. Opposite the Red fort is the Jama Masjid, the mosque also built by Shah Jahan and is the largest in India. After that you can venture out for popular Bazaar Walk in Old Delhi. The walk will take you to the bustling and interesting Chandni Chowk area. Have a fun Cycle rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid to Chandni Chowk.

Overnight stay will be at the Hotel.

Delhi – Mandawa
Days 3
Mandwa Castle

After breakfast at the hotel, we will provide immediate transfer to Mandawa by road. The drive will be 5 hours long. On arrival in Mandawa, the guest will be received by our company representative at the hotel. He will assist you in check-in and furnish you with the schedule for the sightseeing.

Mandawa:- The medieval Fort of Mandawa gradually rises on the horizon like a mirage. The terrace of Castle Mandawa offers you the scenic views of the town. Check the Museum at the Castle where rich collection of arms equipped with jade handles and traditional ceremonial costumes are kept on display. You can pay visits to the royal havelis like Chokhani, Saraf, Goenka and Ladia in this town. The Castle has now been transformed into a 51-rooms hotel and is famous for boasting rooms which have no similarity with one another. It also houses an interesting collection of paintings, jade, costumes and antiques. The courtyard and the terrace come to live during evenings with candle-lit dinners and fire-dances during the season. It is a two hundred and forty year old fortress that has been converted by the family into a fine example of traditional hospitality. Overnight stay will be at the Hotel.

Days 4
Camel Safari

After breakfast at Hotel, you will move on to explore real Mandawa on Camel Safari accompanied by our company representative.

Camel Safari in Mandawa:- Camel Safari for Dhakas. It is a Rajasthani hamlet on the sand dunes located about 18 kms from here. Camp stay followed by lunch. A relaxed evening around the campfire enlivened by the rhythm of dances performed by the locals.

Overnight stay will be at the Hotel.

Mandawa - Jaipur
Days 5
Hawa Mahal

After breakfast, you will immediately be transferred to Jaipur by road. The drive will take approximately 5 hours to complete.

On arrival in Jaipur, you will meet our company representative at the hotel. He will assist you in check-in and provide you with the sightseeing schedule.

Jaipur:- The origins of the beautiful city of Jaipur can be traced back to the eighteenth century, during the reign of Jai Singh II who ascended the Amber throne in 1699. Jaipur is mostly visited for its Rajputana spirit.  In-spite of growing into a bustling metropolis, it still retains its character and history - A beautiful fusion of the yesteryears and modernity. It is popularly known as the Pink City because of the extensive use of the locally abundant pink plastered stone, painted so in honor of the visit of the royal consort of Queen Victoria. Pay visits to forts, palaces, temples and gardens in Jaipur. Overnight stay will be at the Hotel.

Days 6
Amber Fort

After breakfast, you will be taken to Amber Fort. The Amber Fort set in picturesque and rugged hills is a fascinating blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture. The fort is made in red sand stone and white marble. Enjoy Elephant Safari here. In afternoon, you will be taken on a visit to the City Palace. It is located in the heart of the walled city. Then visit the renowned Jantar Mantar (the observatory) and Hawa Mahal.

Overnight stay will be at the Hotel.

Jaipur – Agra (Fatehpur Sikri)
Days 7
Agra Fort

After breakfast at Hotel, you will immediately be transferred to Agra by road. The drive will take 4 hours to wind up. En-route, you will visit Fatehpur-Sikri.

Fatehpur Sikri: This deserted sandstone city was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the late 16th century. It is a veritable fairytale city and its -ruins- are in pristine conditions  its not hard to imagine what the court life must have been like in the days of its grandeur.

On arrival in Agra, you will meet our company representative at the hotel. He will assist you in check-in and provide you with the sightseeing schedule.

You will start for the sightseeing of Agra city. Visit the Taj Mahal. It is best seen at dawn, when the first rays of the sun light up the marble beautifully. Going at dawn is also a good way to beat the heat and the crowds. Then, take in the Agra Fort. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site. We also recommend a photo-stop at Emperor Akbar mausoleum in Sikandra. Itmadullah Tomb is known as the Baby Taj Mahal. It was erecetd between 1622 and 1626 Ad by Nur Jahan, who was the wife of Jahangir, in the fond memory of her father Ghias-ud-Din-Beg. From Itmadullah-s Tomb - a wonderful view of the River and the public laundry can be seen which is very interesting. Overnight stay will be at the Hotel.

Agra – Delhi
Days 8
Taj Mahal

After breakfast, you take another sightseeing city tour of Agra. The first attraction to visit here is always The Taj Mahal. A view of this lovely monument is best enjoyed at dawn, when the first rays of the sun light up the marble beautifully. Going at dawn is also a good way to beat the heat and the crowds.

After lunch, you will be driven to Delhi. Reach Delhi. Late in the evening, proceed for the FAREWELL DINNER. Pamper yourself with exciting dining treats ranging from North Indian, South Indian, Chinese and Continental to American. We have also provided a list of specialty food restaurants in various parts of India. (It-s up to your wish) with this proceed for the DANCES OF INDIA SHOW with Castle & King representative.   

Our company representative will transfer you to the International Airport to board the flight to next destination with the sweet memories of India Tour. Question: Gratuities & Tipping Idea
Answer: This is entirely at your discretion. However, the following may be helpful. If service is not included in the bill, 10% is usually the accepted amount. Hotel and railway porters will expect about 50 rupees for one piece of luggage and about 200 rupees for a trolley full. At the end of your stay if you wish to tip your sightseeing guide and driver, an acceptable amount for the guide would be approximately between 400 500 rupees per day; and for the driver, it would be approximately between 200 400 rupees per day.
